October 9, 2025 – Wiesbaden, Germany. The International Centers for Precision Oncology (ICPO) Foundation announced the cooperation with 24 additional Theranostics centers worldwide officially certifying them as ICPO Theranostics Clinical Centers of Excellence. With this expansion, the ICPO Center Network now comprises 45 Theranostics clinics, primarily located in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). The Center Certification Ceremony took place during the ICPO Reception on the occasion of the EANM conference on Oct 4, 2025, in Barcelona.

The ICPO Foundation is pleased to announce that Professor Akram Al-Ibraheem, President of the Asia Oceania Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (AOFNMB), has officially signed the endorsement of the ICPO Academy for Theranostics by AOFNMB during the SNMMI Annual Meeting 2025 in New Orleans. As a leading regional organization, AOFNMB is committed to advancing nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and radiopharmaceutical sciences across Asia and Oceania, fostering education, collaboration, and clinical excellence in the field.
July 31, 2025 – Wiesbaden, Germany, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. During the annual congress of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) 2025 in New Orleans, USA, the ICPO Foundation and the Brazilian Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SBMN) officially signed a strategic partnership agreement extending their existing Memorandum of Understanding. The goal of this collaboration is to establish a sustainable framework for the accreditation and further development of ICPO Clinical Theranostics Centers of Excellence in Brazil. Together, ICPO and SBMN aim to improve nationwide patient access to theranostics with focus on clinical standards optimization, targeted capacity building and certified training programs for continuous enhancement of patient care.
Dr. Nadine Holzleitner, a researcher at the Technical University of Munich, was awarded with the MGA during the ICPO Forum for Theranostics in Precision Oncology in May 2025 for her pioneering work "Preclinical evaluation of 225Ac-labeled minigastrin analog DOTA-CCK-66 for Targeted Alpha Therapy (TAT)".

The International Centers for Precision Oncology (ICPO) Foundation announced the cooperation with four new ICPO Clinical Theranostics Centers of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore (India), New Delhi (India), Amman (Jordan) as well as in Umhlanga (South Africa) to improve clinical practice as well as patient-focused processes and drive innovation with radiotheranostics. All ICPO CoEs will promote the ICPO Academy for Theranostics in their countries, training healthcare professionals. At the same time, the ICPO Foundation will provide each center with international visibility within the ICPO community. Previously, ICPO CoEs had been successfully established in Australia, Azerbaijan, China, Dubai, Egypt, Germany, India, Mexico, the Philippines, South Africa, Turkey, and Uruguay, continuously expanding the network.
Wiesbaden, June 21, 2025 – The International Centers for Precision Oncology (ICPO) Foundation announced yesterday its role as a founding member of the RLT Angels Association together with leading organizations in the field of radiotheranostics namely the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), GE HealthCare, Novartis, and RayzeBio, a Bristol Myers Squibb company. The initiative, launched on June 20, 2025, carries the mission to improve the experience and availability of radioligand imaging (RLI) and radioligand therapies (RLT) for up to one million patients globally and expand capacity to one thousand RLT Centers. Drawing on world-leading expertise, RLT Angels aims to develop open-source best practice resources such as global blueprints and tools for process optimization to support healthcare providers.Building upon its global network of Centers of Excellence and online educational platform, the ICPO Foundation sets a standard for the RLT Angels Association with respect to the accreditation harmonization of theranostics centers and to the access and scaling of certified theranostics education. The initiative will be guided by an experienced board, including Prof. Richard P. Baum for ICPO, and supported by an independent, international Scientific Advisory Board comprised of leading clinical, economic, scientific and policy experts.
Wiesbaden – May 26, 2025 — The International Centers for Precision Oncology (ICPO) Foundation successfully hosted its 4th ICPO Forum for Theranostics in Precision Oncology on May 15 & 16, 2025 in Garching near Munich on TUM campus. This biannual conference brought together a broad spectrum of stakeholders – from academia, industry, patient advocacy groups and professional associations to investors and philanthropists – to collaboratively shape the future of radiotheranostics. With over 220 participants from 27 countries, the ICPO Forum provided a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments aimed at scaling global patient access to theranostics. Forty international experts shared their insights on the global evolution of theranostics, latest advancements in education and accreditation, the growth of the ICPO Theranostics Centers network, as well as radiopharmaceuticals game changers and the role of artificial intelligence (AI).
