Anna Karmann is the Chief Medical Officer of AdvanCell, a clinical-stage radiopharmaceutical company developing targeted alpha therapies for cancer. A board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist by background, she has extensive experience across biopharma, clinical practice, and drug development. Before joining AdvanCell, Dr. Karmann led early-stage asset development at RayzeBio, guiding radiopharmaceutical and global first-in-human programs. Earlier in her career, she worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising pharmaceutical and biotech organizations on clinical development excellence, portfolio strategy, and operational performance. Dr. Karmann holds an MD from RWTH Aachen University, a PhD from Maastricht University, and an MBA from RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University, Beijing. She has conducted clinical and research work internationally, including at Stanford University Hospital, and is recognized for her expertise in molecular imaging, radiobiology, and radiopharmaceutical therapy development.
