Damian Wild earned his medical degree from the University of Basel in 2004 and completed his specialization in Nuclear Medicine in 2007. He subsequently obtained a PhD from University College London in 2011. From 2009 to 2011, he served as a consultant in Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Freiburg. In 2012, he was appointed Professor and Head of Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Basel and the University of Basel. His research focuses on the development and clinical translation of novel diagnostic and therapeutic radiotracers in oncology.
